Mission Statement
Our Company's Mission is to become the most significant carbon reduction company in the world.
MOVING TO A CARBON FREE FUTURE WILL TAKE TIME AND TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT.
Our PROTEUS Technology is a Supplement to the Electric Grid
Our electric grid is a pretty old in most places and its a marvelous, complicated, mess of technology that has elevated mankind, but that will also need assistance in ushering in the age of electric transportation.
Snapshot of How the Electric Grid Works
The electric grid wastes a lot of energy!
Whether the electricity is generated from green sources or fossil fuels, a good amount of the energy generated is wasted during transmission
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a 'Parallel Alternative Charging System' for electric vehicles to catalyze a faster reduction in carbon emissions from the transportation sector, while at the same time accelerating the adoption of the electric drivetrain.
Our Goal
Reduced transmission-line losses. Our Proteus technology generates clean energy at the point-of-use. This supports conservation by using more of what's been generated.
Supplement the Electric Grid. We will build electric vehicles (both new and retrofitted) that can:
-
recharge from the grid
-
supply the grid with power
-
convert fuel to electricityto recharge the batteries that power the vehicle, without the grid. What we call adding a redundant / backup charging system.
Our Technology is called the Proteus: ONE Platform. THREE Charging Methods, with on being the electric-grid.
Near-Zero Emission PROTEUS System
The Proteus system uses the efficient and patented counterpoise engine as the prime mover, in a new micro generator system that is one-third in size and consuming half the fuel for the same power output. The Counterpoise engine spins our patented generator, converting fuel into electricity to recharge the vehicle’s battery packs. The effect is we use much less fuel for the same power. This is conservation, and it’s the first step toward a zero-carbon future for transportation.
Loop-Gen Charging: The Next Revolution
While the idea of perpetual motion is usually far-fetched, we’re working to get as close to it as is possible, and that’s what our Loop-Gen generator system accomplishes. Our patent pending system borrows from the best electric generator systems ever invented. From locomotive engines to regenerative braking system, and adds novel generators, circuitry and software which are managed by artificial intelligence to regulate the recharging of our vehicle’s battery packs, with one aspect being keeping the charge-limits in the battery between 40% and 80% charge to extend battery life. The result is a method of operating an electric vehicle, or electric bike, that reduces the need for plug-in charging to replenish the battery packs.
Thin-Design - Light-Weight Stackable Modules
Our first generation design uses a 20 kW module that makes 391 ft-lbs of torque. The modules are stackable, meaning three modules stacked together (about 12 inches long) will produce a 60 kW /1173 ft-lbs wheel motor or two modules stacked on all four wheels could produce an 80kW / 1,564 ft. lbs.
The goal for the Proteus system is to be able to replenish kWs to the battery system as fast as they are consumed in driving vehicle. (It's the closest we will get to perpetual motion - i.e. of course the vehicle has to be moving to recover this energy.)
The ability for consumers to choose electric transportation with a redundant charging system that provides an additional charging option when the electric grid is DOWN, OVERLADED, or INCONVENIENT TO USE will increase consumer confidence and will lead to faster and wider adoption of electric transportation.
We can even get a jumpstart in communities that have not been provided public charging stations. Proteus technology can have an even bigger impact in developing countries with unstable electric grids.
